The Sivananda Yoga Retreat House has worked closely for many years with Alexandra and Florian Pointner, the proprietors of the ecological hotel across from the Retreat House. This has allowed us to offer our guests a wholesome and nutritious vegetarian dietary programme.
The entire hotel operation has been certified by Austria-Bio-Garantie, Austria's leading inspection body for organic businesses. It was awarded the European eco-label as well as Austria's gastronomic accolade "Grüne Haube" for whole-grain and natural cuisine. The Pointners have been running their farm according to organic and ecological guidelines since 1995.
They grow various fruits (such as apples and berries) and, since 2009, they have been cultivating an array of vegetables and herbs which are prepared fresh daily in the hotel‘s kitchen.
Rooms:
All guest rooms have wooden floors, health mattresses, shower, toilet, hairdryer and telephone. Most rooms have a balcony. The hotel uses ecological power, pellet heating and a solar hot water system.
The hotel offers both Finnish and low temperature saunas and free parking.
Internet access and a laundry service are available at additional cost.

Board:
Two organic, wholesome and well-balanced vegetarian meals, prepared according to yogic principles, are served daily. Only certified, organically grown food items are used in meals.
Should the hotel be fully booked, we can offer you accommodation in the Sivananda Guesthouse, at 5 minutes walking distance from the Retreat House. The Guesthouse has a contemplative atmosphere, garden, sun terrace and
meditation room and shared shower and toilet facilities on each floor.
In this case meals will either be served either at the eco hotel or at the Sivananda Guesthouse.
The hotel will be closed for the following times during which accomodation and meals will be in the Sivananda Guesthouse at the special low season rates.

Should the hotel and the Sivananda Guest house be booked, accommodation in nearby guest houses is possible. The room equipment is variable.
In this case the two meals will be served by the Biohotel. The price for two meals at the Biohotel is 30 € (incl. Tea, use of the Yoga Hall and the Sauna).
