Yoga vacation programme: Renew Your Energy with Yoga and Herbs

Mother Nature has many treasures in store for us in the wonderful Tyrolean mountains.

  • You will learn to recognise native 'wild greens' which not only are delicious and rich in vitamins, but also have healing properties.
  • You will learn creative uses of wild herbs in the kitchen and practical uses in making natural remedies and cosmetics.

With herb gathering excursions. The rest of the day follows the yoga vacation daily schedule.

Brigitte Addington is a specialist nurse and certified medicinal plant expert. She is founder and director of the Worldwide Communication Centre for Herbalists in Erlangen, Germany.

Arrival day, Wednesday, 18 July (arrival between 2 and 3:30 pm)

  • 4 pm Asana and pranayama class
  • 6 pm Vegetarian dinner
  • 8 pm Evening meditation, mantra chanting

 

Thursday – Saturday, 19 – 21 July

  • 6 – 7:30 am Morning meditation, mantra chanting, talk
  • 8 – 9:30 am Asana and pranayama class
  • 10 am Vegetarian brunch
  • 12 – 1:30 pm Excursion or workshop
  • 4 pm Asana and pranayama class
  • 6 pm Vegetarian dinner
  • 8 pm Evening meditation, mantra chanting, talk

Accommodation and meals

Accommodation and meals are in the non-smoking eco-hotel serving wholesfood organic vegetarian meals.
All guest rooms have wooden floors and furniture, health mattresses, shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone and radio. Most rooms have a balcony. more

What you will need for your stay

A meditation pillow for the morning and evening meditation sessions is recommended. A meditation shawl is also advantageous. 

 

To practice the yoga poses you will need a non-slip yoga mat or wool mat. You will need a blanket to cover yourself at the end of the yoga class during the so-called final relaxation.

 

Pillows, shawls, blankets, mats and much more can be purchased in our online shop or in our boutique after arrival.

 

For your stay you should bring comfortable clothing, slippers, walking shoes, rain gear, torch (flashlight), bathing suit and towels. Eyeglass wearers should bring a hard case for safe storage during the yoga classes.
