Scientific studies have shown: Meditation is relaxing, improves cell metabolism, and the immune system as well as heart and circulatory system are strengthened. Meditation improves self-awareness, memory and empathy.
All topics are related to the classroom situation and suggestions are given for classroom application.

Meditations in practice
- Paying attention to body sensations: Two daily yoga sessions develop a balanced meditation posture and concentration.
- Breathing meditation: Pranayama techniques refine breathing and support mental one-pointedness
- Mental relaxation through exercises in mindfulness
- Concentration on positive values gradually replaces negative sensations and moods.
- Concentration exercises on light, colours and shapes
- Sound meditations: Mantra chanting and mental mantra repetition have a balancing effect on the mind.
- Movement meditation during common walks including periods of silence
- Meditation@Home: individual advice as well as book recommendations for personal meditation techniques.
- Certificate of attendance for 34 teaching units of 45 minutes each

Individual programmes are subject to change or cancellation.
Accommodation and meals are in the non-smoking eco-hotel serving wholesfood organic vegetarian meals.
All guest rooms have wooden floors and furniture, health mattresses, shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone and radio. Most rooms have a balcony.
A meditation pillow for the morning and evening meditation sessions is recommended. A meditation shawl is also advantageous.
To practice the yoga poses you will need a non-slip yoga mat or wool mat. You will need a blanket to cover yourself at the end of the yoga class during the so-called final relaxation.
Pillows, shawls, blankets, mats and much more can be purchased in our online shop or in our boutique after arrival.
For your stay you should bring comfortable clothing, slippers, walking shoes, rain gear, torch (flashlight) and towels. Eyeglass wearers should bring a hard case for safe storage during the yoga classes.
