Correct alignment in the asanas is based on a specific set of actions, which are the same for all asanas. These physiological facts will be explained with powerpoint presentations and then applied in asanas of the Sivananda practice system, including a variety of partner exercises.

Arrival day, Wednesday, 17 July (arrival between 2 and 3:30 pm)

  • 4 – 5:45 pm Asana and pranayama class
  • 6 pm Vegetarian dinner
  • 8 – 9:30 pm Evening meditation, mantra chanting and course meeting


Thursday until Saturday, 18–20 July

  • 6 – 7:30 am Morning meditation, mantra chanting, talk
  • 8 – 9:45 am Asana and pranayama class
  • 10 am Vegetarian brunch
  • 12 – 3 pm Course workshop
  • 4 – 5:45 pm Asana and pranayama class
  • 6 pm Vegetarian dinner
  • 8 – 9:30 pm Evening meditation, mantra chanting, talk


Departure day, Sunday, 21 July

  • 6 – 7:30 am Morning meditation, mantra chanting, talk
  • 8 – 9:45 am Course workshop
  • 10 am Vegetarian brunch
  • 11:30 am – 1:30 pm Course workshop and leave-taking
  • Departure from 2 pm

Accommodation and meals

Accommodation and meals are in the non-smoking eco-hotel serving wholesfood organic vegetarian meals.

All guest rooms have wooden floors and furniture, health mattresses, shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone and radio. Most rooms have a balcony.

What you will need for your stay

A meditation pillow for the morning and evening meditation sessions is recommended. A meditation shawl is also advantageous.

To practice the yoga poses you will need a non-slip yoga mat or wool mat. You will need a blanket to cover yourself at the end of the yoga class during the so-called final relaxation.

Pillows, shawls, blankets, mats and much more can be purchased in our online shop or in our boutique after arrival.

For your stay you should bring comfortable clothing, slippers, walking shoes, rain gear, torch (flashlight), bathing suit and towels. Eyeglass wearers should bring a hard case for safe storage during the yoga classes.
