With Narayani
Regular practice of pranayama gradually opens up new levels of physical and mental relaxation.
For this course, you should be experienced in kapalabhati and alternate nostril breathing. Step by step the natural ability for inhalation, retention and exhalation will be expanded. Special emphasis will be put on conscious relaxation of the body and the mind.
“A Pranayama practitioner will have a light body, very fair complexion, a sweet melodious voice, and pleasant smell from his body. He will have good appetite, cheerfulness, a handsome figure, good strength, courage, enthusiasm, a high standard of health, vitality and good concentration of mind.” – Swami Sivananda
Every class consists of sun salutation, proper sitting posture, kapalabhati with gradual progression up to 100 pumpings, alternate nostril breathing up to 5-20-10, respectively 6-24-12, one additional pranayama exercise (Sitali, Sitkari oder Brahmari) and final relaxation, followed by a short meditation.
