Yoga and Mountain Magic - Energy Spots in the Kitzbühel Mountains

Sun., 24 July 2022 – Fri., 29 July 2022

In Reith, Tyrol, Austria

Some places give the feeling of immediate well-being.

We pause on hikes at places rich in energy, experience nature directly and draw strength from precious moments.

A energy spot might be an old tree, a special rock formation, a chapel or a panoramic vista.

Hike to Bichlach from the Retreat House

Bichlach – the name comes from bichelig, or hilly, terrain – is the hilly region between Reith and Kitzbühel and is crisscrossed with an extensive network of trails.
The originally rolling moorland around the Bichlach was formed by glaciers during the last ice age. The Bichlach area in Reith with its waters such as the Giering and Vogelsberg ponds is a special recreational area.
We stay awhile at the Vogelsberg pond, take in the lovely landscape, watch the carp and, with a little luck, even see the turtles.

Hike to Schwarzsee lake in the early morning

Early in the morning there is still fog over Schwarzsee lake. Behind the Kitzbüheler Horn peak, the morning sunbeams emerge. The untouched nature along the lake shore, the fresh scent of the water, all make Schwarzsee an almost magical place of power in Kitzbühel.

Sintersbach waterfall near Jochberg

The Sintersbach waterfall not far from Jochberg is a true place of power. The moderately difficult hike there is worth it. The 85 meter high waterfall is an impressive natural spectacle. On the way back from the waterfall, which is at an elevation of just under 1,300 meters, you pass the managed Wildalm (1,430 meters), a quaint old hut where the cowshed is directly adjacent to the parlor.
