Traditional temple ceremonies (Pujas) help clear the mental atmosphere through the use of colours, sounds, fragrances and Mudras (hand gestures). A strong meditative vibration is invoked.

  • 5:10 am: Additional early morning pranayama practice
  • 11:00 am: Classical temple ceremonies (pujas) with a priest from South India. Aesthetic colours, sounds, aromas and gestures help clear the mental atmosphere and create a strong meditative vibration.
  • 7:30 pm: Preparing for meditation through mantra recitation and readings


Noon: Yoga teachers' meeting:

Chance to share experiences and ask questions. One asana correction will be discussed daily.




Group Meditation


Mornings at 6 am and evenings at 8 pm

Practical instructions for concentration exercises, chanting of Sanskrit mantras, explanation of yoga texts with inspiring insights into the philosophy and psychology of yoga.



Experience Winter


Weather permitting, from 11:30 am we will take group walks through the winter landscape or go cross-country skiing. Experience the special charm of the icy season.
Please bring shoes with good traction.

If you are visiting the Yoga Retreat House for the first time, you will receive an introduction to the basic principles of the yoga practice and information on the yoga vacation schedule.

What you will need for your stay

A meditation pillow for the morning and evening meditation sessions is recommended. A meditation shawl is also advantageous. 


To practice the yoga poses you will need a non-slip yoga mat or wool mat. You will need a blanket to cover yourself at the end of the yoga class during the so-called final relaxation.


Pillows, shawls, blankets, mats and much more can be purchased in our online shop or in our boutique after arrival.


For your stay you should bring comfortable clothing, slippers, walking shoes, rain gear, torch (flashlight), bathing suit and towels. Eyeglass wearers should bring a hard case for safe storage during the yoga classes.

Accommodation and meals

Accommodation and meals are in the non-smoking eco-hotel serving wholesfood organic vegetarian meals.
All guest rooms have wooden floors and furniture, health mattresses, shower, toilet, hairdryer, telephone and radio. Most rooms have a balcony. more
