You will be staying in the eco-hotel Pointner, which serves wholesome vegetarian cuisine.
The hotel
The entire hotel has been certifed by Austria Bio-Garantie, Austria’s leading inspection body for organic businesses. It has been awarded the European eco-label as well as
Austria’s gastronomic accolade ‘Grüne Haube’. The Pointners have been running their farm according
to organic and ecological principles since 1995.
In 2017, a new farm building/stable was constructed near the hotel. Cows and goats enjoy a peaceful life here.
The hotel uses green electricity, pellet heating and a solar-powered hot water system.

Rooms
Almost all rooms have new beds according to a new sleep system.
A master power switch further reduces electrosmog, improving quality of sleep.

At 4 pm you can join the yoga class.
Please let us know if you arrive after 4pm.

Internet
The Hotel Pointner offers WLAN in the dining room and on the terrace.
Please do not use the WiFi during meals.
For single and double rooms there are internet modems for internet access with your own laptop for free. Please ask at the hotel reception.
WLAN is also available in the outdoor area directly in front of the yoga hall (hall 1-3). .
Single room
The single rooms are equipped with a wooden floor, health mattress, master power switch, shower, toilet, hair dryer and telephone.
Most rooms have a balcony.
To minimize electro-smog and enable a downtime from technology, none of the rooms have a television or WiFi.
Double room
The double rooms are equipped with wooden floors, health mattresses, master power switch, shower, toilet, hair dryer and telephone.

Ladies and mens shared room
These rooms are basically equipped with eight beds. There are shared bathroom and toilet facilities.
Dormitories for ladies
The dormitories are basically equipped with wooden floors, mattresses and shared bathroom and toilet facilities.
There are no dorm for men available
Accommodation in guest houses
Should the hotel be booked, accommodation in House Ganga and in nearby guest houses in single or double rooms is possible. The room amenities vary.
In this case meals will be taken in Hotel Pointner. The price for two meals at the hotel is €42 (incl. tea, use of the yoga halls and the sauna). The Sivananda Yoga Retreat House will book the guest house for you.
Meals
In the eco-hotel Pointner
For many years the Sivananda Yoga Retreat House has worked closely with Alexandra and Florian Pointner, the owners of the hotel across from the Retreat House. The vegetarian menu plans offer a wholesome and balanced diet.
Two vegetarian meals are served daily according to yogic principles. The ingredients are sourced from organic farms.
Various fruits, vegetables and herbs are freshly prepared in the hotel’s kitchen. The hotel’s own fruit trees and berry bushes provide delicious ingredients.
The hotel accommodates vegan and gluten-free diets by offering appropriate alternatives. However, gluten-free bread is not provided. Food may contain traces of gluten.
The hotel is unable to accommodate individual dietary preferences.
